Head of Hamas International Relations Office Dr. Basem Naim has welcomed the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) resolutions in favor of Palestine adopted on Wednesday.

In a press release, Naim said that the UN body’s resolutions demanding Israeli occupation to halt its aggressive policy, including excavations, digging tunnels and colonial settlement projects in Al-Aqsa, deprivation of Palestinians of their right to worship, and distortion of archaeological sites in Jerusalem and across Palestine support the Palestinian narrative and refute Israeli claims.

The Hamas official called on all international organizations to take necessary measures to defend the Palestinian rights and stop the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people and their heritage.
