Israel raze large tracts of land near Hebron

Israeli forces Tuesday began razing citizens' lands in the village of Zanuta in Dhahiriya town, south of Hebron, according to local sources.

The mayor of Dhahriya, Ratib Sabbar, told SAFA that the Israeli troops bulldoze today's morning the lands of the town, to pave for a new road to link the two Israeli settlements, Tina and Shamaa.

Sabbar added that the lands belong to the Jabareen and Khidirat families, pointing out that the Israeli forces had previously cordoned off areas of the citizens' lands.

As for the representative of the village council, Adel al-Tal, he said to SAFA that the forces bulldozed approximately 30 dunums of the lands of the Jabarin family near the settlement of Shamaa.
