IOF detain 13 Palestinians, injure two others

Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 13 Palestinians and injured two others across the occupied territories, according to local and security sources.

They said that Israeli forces rounded up two Palestinians after breaking into the houses of their families in the Ramallah city neighborhood of al-Tireh.

The forces rounded up two others, including a former prisoner, after ransacking their houses in al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya village, north of Ramallah city.

In the northern West Bank, the sources confirmed a similar raid in Burqa town, north of Nablus city, resulting in the detention of two others.

In Jenin district, a Palestinian from Qabatiya town, south of Jenin city, was detained at a military checkpoint at the entrance of Ti'anik village, northwest of the city.

In Jerusalem district, special Israeli forces kidnapped a Palestinian from Biddu town, northwest of the city.

Israeli military vehicles also stormed al-Jib village, where the soldiers searched and ransacked a house. None was detained though.

Israeli police detained two others; one from his house in Batn al-Hawa and the other from al-Bustan in Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.

In Bethlehem district, Israeli forces barged their way into Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city, where they detained another after storming his parents’ house.

During the ensuing confrontations, the soldiers opened fire towards local teens who attempted to block their passage, injuring two in the feet.

In Hebron district, the sources confirmed raids in Idna town and al-Fawwar refugee camp, west and south of Hebron city, resulting in the detention of two others.
