The Civil Action Coordination Council stressed the importance of commemoration the international solidarity movement with the Palestinian people and their cause in its broadest form, and re-considering its international dimension as a cause of national liberation until the achievement of national goals, in accordance with international legitimacy decisions and principles of international law.
The Council stressed in a statement, on the occasion of the approaching International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which marks on November 29 of each year, the importance of ongoing efforts to expand coordination between various friendly institutions and organizations, in preparation for the commemoration of this day, through a series of activities and events at the international level, affirming of the right to self-determination and national independence.
It called for commemoration the Day of Solidarity through serious steps calling for pressure to hold the occupation authorities accountable for their crimes, and to establish the principle of international justice in order to lift the injustice of the Palestinian people, provide international protection for them, and enforce international law towards their legitimate issues.
The Council said that the importance of participating in the celebration of this day of solidarity comes to confirm the responsibility of the international community in lifting the injustice inflicted on the Palestinian people as a result of the Israeli occupation, and preventing them from establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
