The brothers Nasser, Mohammed, and Sharif Abu Hamid from Al-Amari Camp, Ramallah, will be freed today from Israeli prisons and exiled outside Palestine.

They are among four brothers serving life sentences, while their fifth brother, Commander Nasser Abu Hamid, was martyred in 2022 due to medical negligence, and his body is still withheld by the occupation.

The Abu Hamid family has faced decades of suffering, including arrests of all family members, the demolition of their home five times, and the denial of visitation rights to their mother.

Today, 121 Palestinian prisoners, including those with life sentences, will be released in exchange for four Israeli soldiers freed by Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza.
