Israeli forces continued their military operation in the northern occupied West Bank for the ninth day in a row on Wednesday. They escalated their attacks and destroyed a Palestinian home in Tulkarm.
Eyewitnesses says that Israeli forces expanded their attacks at dawn in towns across Tulkarm, which they have been raiding for three days.
They said that Israeli forces, with a D10 bulldozer, stormed Shweika neighborhood north of Tulkarm and completely destroyed the home of Tamer Fuqaha, a Palestinian killed by Israeli forces.
On May 4, 2024, Israeli forces killed Fuqaha after surrounding a house in Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm. They accused him of carrying out a shooting in 2023 at the entrance of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm, which killed an Israeli soldier.
Israeli forces continue to blockade Tulkarm refugee camp, destroying buildings, forcing families to flee, and turning homes into military bases under drone surveillance.
Since Monday, three Palestinians have been killed and others injured by Israeli attacks in Tulkarm.
Meanwhile, Israel’s official Kan broadcaster said on Monday that Israeli forces expanded their military operation, which started in Jenin a week ago, to Tulkarm and its refugee camp, with airstrikes.
