Doctors Without Borders: Gaza’s Humanitarian Needs Remain Critical Amid Insufficient Aid

Doctors Without Borders has warned that four weeks after the ceasefire, humanitarian needs in Gaza remain immense, with aid falling far short of what is required.

The organisation reported deploying mobile clinics in Jabalia and distributing water in Beit Lahia to provide urgent care. Project coordinator Sarah Voelstec described northern Gaza as "mountains of rubble," where returning Palestinians struggle to recognise their neighbourhoods yet remain determined to rebuild.

With over half a million people returning since January 27, Doctors Without Borders urged Israel to allow the immediate entry of essential supplies and reiterated its call for a sustained ceasefire to protect civilians.
