Government Office: No Caravans or Equipment Have Entered Gaza

The head of the Government Media Office, Salama Marouf, confirmed that no caravans, equipment, or heavy machinery from the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing have entered the Gaza Strip so far.

He added, "We hope they will enter in the coming hours, according to assurances from the relevant parties."

Marouf stated that there is continuous monitoring of the occupation's actions, with mediators being informed daily of its violations.

"We are waiting for the occupation to fulfill its commitments under the ceasefire agreement and to begin allowing all necessary supplies listed in the humanitarian protocol, in the specified quantities and within the agreed timelines," he said.

He stressed that the catastrophic humanitarian and living conditions in Gaza, caused by 15 months of genocide and ethnic cleansing by the occupation, cannot tolerate further delays in the entry of shelter supplies, fuel, heavy equipment, medical devices, and materials for infrastructure repair.

Marouf noted that nearly 1.5 million people have been left homeless due to the destruction of their homes, while all 2.4 million residents of Gaza suffer from a severe lack of basic services and the complete collapse of infrastructure.
