Israeli Prisons Force Detainees to Wear Racist Slogans; Hebrew Media Calls It "Unexplainable Stupidity"!

Freed Palestinian prisoners burned the clothes they were forced to wear before their release, which carried Israeli symbols and slogans. Photos published by Israeli media showed detainees in white shirts with the Star of David and the phrase "We do not forget, we do not forgive."

Hamas condemned the act as a racist provocation and a violation of humanitarian laws, reaffirming its commitment to ethical treatment of Israeli prisoners. The group emphasized that freeing all detainees remains a top priority.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz criticized the decision, calling it an irresponsible and childish move that could endanger Israeli captives in Gaza. Meanwhile, Channel 12 described it as a sign of desperation and weakness.

On Saturday, Israel released 36 long-term Palestinian prisoners and 333 detainees from Gaza, arrested after October 7, 2024. Earlier, Hamas handed over three Israeli captives to the Red Cross in Khan Younis as part of the ongoing prisoner exchange deal.
