PPC Club Condemns Systematic Israeli Torture, Crimes Against Palestinian Detainees

The Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) has denounced the Israeli occupation forces for engaging in systematic physical and psychological torture against Palestinian detainees. The latest humiliation tactic involves forcing prisoners to wear jackets and bracelets with threatening phrases before their release.

The PPC highlighted that Palestinian prisoners endure severe beatings, starvation, medical neglect, and verbal abuse—practices that have intensified following recent resistance operations. Many prisoners are released with severe injuries, their suffering designed to "kill the joy of freedom" and break their spirit.

Among the recently freed detainees were 36 prisoners serving life sentences and 333 from Gaza. Many face critical health conditions due to years of mistreatment. The PPC also reported escalating Israeli threats and violence against detainees’ families, including home raids and arrests.

Despite the latest prisoner exchange as part of the ceasefire agreement, over 10,000 Palestinians remain imprisoned, with hundreds more forcibly disappeared in Gaza. The PPC called for global intervention to end these abuses and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.
