The Prisoners’ Media Office has been closely monitoring the brutal crimes committed by the occupation against Palestinian prisoners, which became starkly evident in the tragic condition of those released under the "Flood of the Free" deal. Their bodies stood as undeniable proof of years of systematic torture and severe violations.
The freed prisoners revealed the horrors they endured, with clear signs of severe beatings and abuse visible on their bodies, alongside suffering from illnesses that worsened due to deliberate medical neglect. Their testimonies carried shocking evidence of the occupation’s practices, including the use of prisoners as human shields, a blatant violation of all international conventions.
The released prisoners confirmed that the occupation’s actions inside prisons have crossed all red lines, involving continuous torture, denial of medical treatment, and deadly solitary confinement in a systematic attempt to break their will and undermine their resilience.
The Prisoners’ Media Office emphasized that these violations amount to war crimes and cannot go unpunished. It called on international human rights organizations to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities by launching an urgent investigation into the occupation’s crimes against Palestinian prisoners and taking serious action to hold the occupation and its leaders accountable for these brutal crimes.
