Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, announced on Friday evening that Saturday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.  

In celebration of this blessed occasion, the Palestinian Press Agency (Safa) extends heartfelt congratulations to its readers, followers, and the entire Arab and Islamic world. May this Ramadan bring peace, blessings, and prosperity to all.
