Israeli forces have shot and seriously injured several Palestinians, including a young girl, in the occupied West Bank as Tel Aviv's regime continues its large-scale assault on Palestinian territories.
A nine-year-old girl sustained critical head injuries after Israeli forces opened fire in the town of Qusra, located in the Nablus governorate of the northern West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency Maan. In the same area, a 20-year-old woman was also shot in the head, while a 14-year-old boy was wounded during a violent Israeli raid on the village of al-Rihiya, near al-Khalil.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, suffocating several Palestinians. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, troops stormed the town, deploying along the road linking al-Quds to al-Khalil and in the al-Bawaba area. They fired live bullets and tear gas at civilian homes and shops, causing distress and injuries.
On Wednesday night, the Israeli army deployed heavily armoured Eitan vehicles to Tulkarem, advancing from the Einav checkpoint at Anabta’s eastern entrance. Additional armoured vehicles entered from the Jbara military checkpoint, moving towards Shobaki junction and the village of Shufa.
Meanwhile, extremist Israeli settlers attacked the Arab-populated village of al-Mlaihat, in the Maarjat area northwest of Ariha. They stormed villagers' homes, spreading panic among residents.
For 44 days, the large-scale assault by Israeli forces has killed dozens of Palestinians across the West Bank, particularly in Jenin, its refugee camp, and Tulkarem. The attacks have also forcibly displaced many residents and led to widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure, with at least 120 houses completely demolished and many others severely damaged.
