$French football star Paul Pogba, formerly of Juventus and Manchester United, has launched a campaign to combat hunger and support Gaza’s residents during Ramadan. The initiative, in collaboration with a charitable organization, provides free meals to displaced families in shelters.  

On Instagram, Pogba wrote, “Hunger knows no boundaries. Together we can make a difference by feeding those in need. A simple meal can bring hope, warmth, and strength to those facing difficulties. Let’s share together and ensure that no one sleeps hungry.”  

The campaign has garnered widespread praise on social media, with many applauding Pogba’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause. This isn’t his first show of support; he previously shared a photo holding the Palestinian flag on the field, captioning it, “The world needs peace and love. Pray for Palestine.”  

Gaza’s humanitarian crisis has deepened during Ramadan, exacerbated by Israel’s closure of crossings for ten consecutive days. The shutdown of Kerem Shalom, a vital crossing for aid and goods, has worsened the suffering of over two million people still reeling from 15 months of war.  

Pogba’s initiative highlights the urgent need for global action to alleviate Gaza’s plight, offering a glimmer of hope amid ongoing hardship.
