Israeli Occupation Resumes Aggression Against Gaza After Two-Month Ceasefire

The Israeli occupation has resumed its brutal assault on Gaza in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a two-month ceasefire. The renewed aggression comes after the Israeli government rejected mediation efforts and blamed the Palestinian resistance for the breakdown of the truce brokered by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt.

Israeli warplanes launched relentless airstrikes across the besieged enclave, targeting homes, shelters, and tents housing displaced civilians. According to medical sources, at least 86 Palestinians have been martyred, including 52 in Khan Yunis, while dozens more have been wounded. Overburdened hospitals are struggling to treat the rising number of casualties amid severe shortages of medical supplies due to the ongoing blockade.

The Palestinian resistance has vowed to defend Gaza, holding the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of its continued aggression. Hamas has called on the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to take immediate action to halt the attacks and end the suffocating siege imposed on the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reports confirm that the occupation government informed Washington in advance of its military operation. In response, Israeli authorities have suspended schooling and imposed new security restrictions in settlements near Gaza, as fears of further escalation grow.
