Ongoing Genocide in Gaza: Massacres Ignored by the World

Israel’s latest assault on Gaza has claimed the lives of over 170 children in a single day, as relentless airstrikes continue to wipe out entire families. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports that more than 400 people were killed on Tuesday alone, including over 80 women. With no safe place left, Palestinians face death at every moment, trapped under the bombs of an occupying force determined to erase them.

Rescue efforts are collapsing under severe shortages of fuel and equipment, leaving many injured to die beneath the rubble. Hospitals are on the brink of total failure, with only four fully functional and many forced to shut down due to destruction and a lack of medical staff. At Al-Shifa Hospital, director Mohammed Abu Salmiya described the situation as catastrophic, saying, “We are facing an unimaginable crisis.”

Beyond the massacres, Gaza is being starved. Over a million people are now at risk of famine as Israel tightens its blockade, preventing aid from reaching those in desperate need. Food supplies are running out, forcing aid agencies to halt flour distributions and shut down public kitchens. OCHA warns that if this continues, many kitchens will close within weeks, leaving even more people to die from hunger.

The world watches as an entire population is systematically exterminated. Despite mounting evidence of war crimes, Israel continues its genocide with full impunity, targeting hospitals, schools, and shelters. Calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian access are ignored, while the international community refuses to intervene. Gaza’s people are left to suffer alone, abandoned by those who claim to uphold human rights.

This is not war—it is genocide. The mass killing of civilians, the starvation of a besieged population, and the destruction of all means of survival are clear crimes against humanity. How much longer will the world turn a blind eye as Gaza is wiped off the map?
