Protests Erupt Outside White House as US Backs Israeli Genocide in Gaza

As Israel unilaterally cancels a ceasefire agreement during the holy month of Ramadan, its relentless bombardment of Gaza has laid bare its refusal to adhere to the second phase of the truce. The Israeli regime, emboldened by unwavering support from the United States, has escalated its offensive, sparking outrage and protests outside the White House in Washington.

“This is horrific! They can do this because of American support. Without it, they wouldn’t stand a chance,” said one protester from the group *Jews Against Genocide*. “The US has the power to stop Israel at any moment. They supply the majority of Israel’s weapons and are its biggest military backer. The US could end this immediately.”

Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed in a single day, with many still buried under the rubble as the US-Israeli war machine continues to destroy homes, hospitals, and entire families. Meanwhile, Washington has carried out airstrikes in war-torn Yemen, killing dozens and further destabilizing the region.

The Trump administration’s aggressive rhetoric, particularly toward Iran, has raised fears of a broader regional conflict. “The genocide in Gaza is just one part of this global war led by the US,” said another protester. “It’s clear that the real target is Iran, a key trading partner of both Russia and China.”

With near-daily protests in the capital and across the country against Trump’s policies, many hope for a larger, unified movement to prevent the US from plunging deeper into war. “There have been many small protests, but I hope something will unite them into a stronger front against this government’s actions,” a demonstrator remarked.

Despite global condemnation and calls for an end to the violence, Israel has announced plans to expand its offensive. After a brief period of relative calm, the US-Israeli axis has resumed its genocidal campaign with renewed intensity, leaving the people of Gaza to endure unimaginable suffering.

As the death toll rises and the world watches, the protests outside the White House serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need for accountability and an end to the complicity that fuels this ongoing tragedy.
