Tragedy Strikes Central Gaza as Airstrikes Claim Lives

In a devastating series of airstrikes, at least 11 Palestinians lost their lives in central Gaza within a span of two hours, underscoring the relentless assault on civilian areas. The bombardments have intensified, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation in the besieged territory.

Witnesses reported that the initial strike targeted a food distribution centre near Al-Qassam Mosque in Al-Nuseirat camp, resulting in the deaths of five individuals, including children who were queuing for rations. Shortly after, another airstrike struck a group of civilians in the fifth section of the camp, claiming four more lives. The violence continued with Israeli warplanes bombing makeshift shelters in Al-Zawayda, where displaced families sought refuge, leading to two additional fatalities.

This escalation forms part of a larger Israeli offensive that has wrought havoc on Gaza’s civilian population, leaving communities shattered and in despair. Humanitarian organisations are sounding alarms over the deteriorating conditions, highlighting critical shortages of medical supplies and food, as the suffering of innocent civilians deepens amidst ongoing conflict.
