The NGOs and Human Rights Organizations in the Gaza Strip warned of the dangerous repercussions of the lack of laboratory materials for examining the Coronavirus at the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The Hemaya Center for Human Rights (HCHR) called on, in a statement received by SAFA on Monday, all concerned parties to urgently provide the medical supplies and equipment necessary to overcome Coronavirus.
The center called for pressure on Israel to respect international law, end restrictions and lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the human rights group "Al- Hureya" called in a message to the World Health Organization, international bodies and personalities, to urgently provide the necessary medical supplies and devices to overcome the Corona pandemic due to the virus outbreak in Gaza.
In the message, the group said that it is concerned about the catastrophic situation that the health sector suffers from in Gaza, in light of the high number of people infected with Coronavirus as a result of the spread of the epidemic in the Gaza Strip, and in light of the running out of swabs for examining the Corona virus, as well as the lack of medical devices and equipment and artificial respirators.
