Corbyn and Sultana Launch New Party to Challenge ‘Rigged’ System and Support Gaza

In a bold move against Britain’s political establishment, Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana have joined forces to create a new left-wing party, promising to reshape the landscape with a platform centred on social justice, wealth redistribution, and unwavering solidarity with Palestine.

Announced through a joint statement, the initiative, still unnamed, is described as “a new kind of political party, one that belongs to you.” Citing deepening poverty, corporate profiteering, and billions funnelled into war while millions go hungry, the statement paints a damning picture of a system designed to protect the wealthy at the expense of the vulnerable.

At the heart of their message is a rejection of scapegoating and division. “The great dividers want you to think migrants are to blame,” they said. “They’re not. It’s the billionaires and the corporations profiting off our suffering.”

Their vision includes public ownership of essential services, fair taxation, and an end to the UK’s support for Israeli military aggression. The new party pledges to demand an immediate halt to arms sales to Israel and to defend the right to protest against what it openly names as genocide in Gaza.

While critics dismiss their potential, early polling suggests the party could disrupt the status quo, drawing support from disillusioned voters tired of silence, complicity, and political betrayal. In a time of despair, their call is clear: a politics rooted in dignity, accountability, and collective action.
