For the 26th consecutive day, Gaza endures yet another chapter of horror as Israel’s war machine continues its relentless assault. With no safe haven left, the targeting of civilians, families, and displaced persons has become the grim hallmark of this ongoing genocide. Early Friday, 15 Palestinians were killed in a series of brutal Israeli airstrikes — 10 of them from the Al-Farra family, wiped out in a single attack.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that since the resumption of Israel’s aggression on 18 March, 1,542 Palestinians have been martyred, and 3,940 others have been injured. The numbers grow each day, mirroring the systematic destruction of life, identity, and hope.
Forced displacement continues unabated. The Israeli army has issued yet another map ordering evacuations in Al-Shuja’iyya, a neighbourhood already devastated by previous bombardments. Such orders amount to little more than death warrants for families with nowhere to flee — displaced from ruins to ruins.
Across the Strip, death rains down without warning. From Jabalia to Khan Younis and Rafah, families are bombed in their sleep, schools are turned into graves, and children like Sham Abu Aoun die with their limbs severed. Each name, each life lost, speaks of a future stolen — not by fate, but by a war waged without mercy.
As the world watches, silent or complicit, Gaza is being erased family by family, home by home. Yet in this darkness, the resilience of its people remains: mothers cradling the memories of their children, fathers digging through rubble to find loved ones, and children walking barefoot through ash, still clinging to life.
