Dr Mazen Kahil, Secretary-General of the Palestinians in Europe Conference, has warned of a coordinated plan to forcibly displace Gaza’s educated population to Europe — in full cooperation with Israeli authorities and certain EU states, notably France.
“These are not humanitarian efforts,” Kahil said. “They are part of a criminal strategy to strip Gaza of its intellectual and professional strength under the guise of aid.”
He accused Western governments of aiding this effort while ignoring international law and the collective trauma imposed on Gaza’s people. Meanwhile, ordinary Europeans, he said, are undergoing a “moral awakening” as Gaza’s resistance exposes the lies of official narratives.
Mass demonstrations across Europe reflect this awakening, especially among youth who now see the Palestinian cause as a struggle against colonial oppression. Yet governments remain hostage to lobbies and military interests.
Kahil urged civil society to pressure institutions, enforce international law, and hold war criminals accountable. “The battle is no longer just in Gaza — it’s global, and it’s moral.”
Gaza, he concluded, has become a symbol of justice and courage — and the world can no longer look away.
