Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza continues with a deadly combination of siege, starvation, and bombardment, turning the coastal enclave into a graveyard for thousands of Palestinians. With all crossings sealed and humanitarian aid blocked, the Strip remains under suffocating conditions while airstrikes and artillery rain down on civilians without reprieve.
In the past 24 hours alone, hospitals have received 39 martyrs and nearly 100 wounded amid scenes of horror and destruction. Tents, homes, and residential buildings are being deliberately targeted, adding to a toll that has reached over 52,800 killed and nearly 120,000 wounded since October. Over one-third of all Palestinian martyrs since 1948 have been killed in the last seven months.
In Khan Younis, Israeli warplanes struck a tent near the Asdaa Prison, killing three young men. Drones have opened fire on homes in Gaza City’s Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood, while artillery shells have hit several areas across the south. The suffering continues unabated as the international community remains silent and regional powers turn their backs.
Malnutrition has now become another deadly weapon. According to the WHO, tens of thousands of children and mothers in Gaza are in urgent need of treatment. Food and medicine lie just beyond the border, yet Israel’s blockade ensures famine spreads. Gaza is dying — not from natural disaster, but from a war that refuses to end.
