Israel moves to legalize West Bank settlement outpost

The Hebrew newspaper "Yediot Aharonot" revealed this morning, Sunday, the contents of the draft legalization of dozens of settlement outposts in the West Bank, which the Israeli government and settlers are racing to whitewash before the departure of US President Donald Trump from the White House.

The newspaper stated that the step to legalize the outposts will include 46 settlement outposts at the beginning, and they will be recognized as a settlement and extended to the various infrastructures and expand their geographical scope.

Meanwhile, settlers are putting great pressure on the Israeli government, seeking to exploit the few days of Trump's presidency by whitewashing the outposts, which are more than 100 outposts spread in articulated areas in the West Bank, and there has been talk recently about an opportunity to whiten 70 outposts.
