Doctors Without Borders: Gaza Facing Engineered Collapse of Humanitarian System

Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) has issued a stark warning over what it calls a deliberate attempt to engineer a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. The organisation described the situation as "hell on earth," with soaring malnutrition rates, collapsing medical infrastructure, and no access to essential supplies.

According to MSF, malnutrition cases have surged by 32% in just two weeks, as aid remains deliberately obstructed. The few remaining hospitals are overwhelmed, functioning without basic equipment or medicine, and under constant threat of attack. For over two months, no medical shipments have reached MSF teams, leaving doctors to work without gauze, sterile gloves, or even the most rudimentary tools for care.

Healthcare workers, already exhausted, now face the impossible task of saving lives in conditions that resemble a war zone stripped of all humanity. MSF accused Israeli forces of pursuing a strategy that seeks not only to destroy Gaza’s infrastructure but to systematically dismantle its ability to survive.

As the international community continues to debate statements, Gaza’s people are enduring the collapse of every mechanism that sustains life. The warning from MSF is clear: this is not a crisis of circumstance—it is one of intent.
