While Cameras Turn Away, Gaza Bleeds: Euro-Med Warns of Escalating Genocide

As global headlines shift elsewhere, the bloodshed in Gaza intensifies. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has sounded the alarm over Israel’s escalating assault on Palestinians, warning that a sharp rise in mass killings is unfolding under the cover of media silence and international apathy.

According to field reports, over 350 Palestinians have been killed in just four days. Dozens died waiting for food, in what rights observers are calling a systematic pattern of targeting the hungry. On Friday alone, more than 70 Palestinians were killed, many struck while seeking aid, as Israeli forces continued to bomb civilian gatherings with impunity.

The Monitor denounced the use of starvation as a weapon, calling it a clear act of genocide and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. It stressed that the deliberate targeting of aid queues is not coincidental, but part of a broader policy of collective punishment.

As the world's gaze turns toward military tensions between Israel and Iran, Palestinians in Gaza are left to suffer unseen. Euro-Med urged urgent international intervention, warning that silence in the face of such brutality amounts to complicity.
With every passing hour, more lives are buried beneath the rubble, lives that remain invisible to a world too distracted to look.
