In Gaza, death is no longer hidden, it is live-streamed. Bombs tear through tents and homes, children are incinerated in their sleep, and families are erased in seconds. And yet, the world remains silent, paralysed by indifference and devoid of conscience. This inaction is not neutral; it is lethal.
Since dawn on Wednesday, 65 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across the Strip, including infants and entire families. In Khan Younis, airstrikes wiped out the Osman and Jadallah families, mothers, sons, daughters, burned or crushed as they sheltered in places once thought safe. Professor Hammad Al-Nakhala was also killed in Gaza City, his life ended not for any crime, but simply for existing under the wrong sky.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, over 57,600 Palestinians have been killed and more than 137,000 injured since 7 October 2023. Since the collapse of the ceasefire on 18 March 2025, over 7,000 more lives have been lost. The dead are not just numbers, they are dreams, classrooms, playgrounds, and futures wiped away.
These are not battlefield casualties. They are victims of deliberate, repeated targeting of civilian life under the guise of war. The bombs fall, and the world debates. But for Gaza, there is no pause, no refuge, no justice. Only the endless scream of grief, and a world that chooses not to hear.
