During the Past four years, Israel doubled its attacks to settle Jerusalem, Judaize it, and destroy its Palestinian identity, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It stated in a statement issued on Saturday that Israel’s settlement escalation against the holy city has been doubled during 2020, especially in the last months as the US presidential elections appeared.

Israel government, chaired by Netanyahu, announced dozens of settlement projects in different places of the occupied eastern Jerusalem in order to deepen the process of separating east Jerusalem from the other areas, and erasing the line between east Jerusalem and its south, said the ministry.

It pointed out that all of these settlement projects aim to undermine the chances that may lead to provide a better future for Jerusalem.

It finally showed that settlement projects in Jerusalem were accompanied with wide trials to displace and expel the Palestinian throughout various methods. Most importantly, home demolition in which Israeli forces demolished more than 170 homes resulting in the loss of 400 Palestinians for their shelters.
