Five Palestinians, including three children, have died from famine in Gaza within the past day, while Israeli airstrikes killed 87 more and left over 400 wounded. The Ministry of Health reported that total deaths from malnutrition have now reached 387, including 138 children, as the siege tightens its grip.
Since famine was officially declared on 22 August, 109 people have perished from starvation alone, alongside thousands injured in desperate scrambles for bread. In total, more than 64,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 162,000 wounded since October 2023, in what rights groups warn is genocide.
Hospitals, overwhelmed and collapsing under shortages, continue to receive the dead and injured daily. The Ministry called for urgent international intervention to stop the massacres, protect civilians, and open humanitarian corridors before Gaza is completely starved of life.
