Israeli‑Made Famine in Gaza Claims 460 Lives, Including 154 Children

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza continues to deepen, with the death toll from famine and severe malnutrition now rising to 460, including 154 children, health authorities have confirmed. The latest victim, a civilian, died within the past 24 hours, underscoring the deadly impact of Israel’s siege.
Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification declared famine in Gaza, at least 182 people, including 39 children, have died of hunger. The situation reflects a deliberate policy of starvation as part of Israel’s ongoing genocide of Gaza, now in its second year, supported politically and militarily by the United States.
Since October 7, 2023, more than 67,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 169,000 injured under this campaign. The siege, which includes the systematic blockade of food, water, and medical supplies, has driven Gaza’s civilian population into a desperate crisis, with malnutrition and starvation emerging as weapons of war.
