Night Raids and Fear: Dozens Detained Across the West Bank

Israeli forces carried out another mass arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank early Monday, storming homes and detaining dozens of Palestinians, including minors and former prisoners. The night raids, which spread across Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Salfit, and Jericho, left behind damaged property and terrified families.

Witnesses reported that soldiers broke into several homes in Ramallah and the nearby village of Deir Abu Mash’al, detaining at least six people. Among them was political figure Jamal Al-Tawil, a former detainee who had spent nearly two decades behind bars before being freed in a recent prisoner exchange. His home was ransacked, and his son was reportedly beaten during the arrest.

Elsewhere, similar scenes unfolded across the West Bank. In Aqabat Jabr Camp near Jericho, seven young men were seized in pre-dawn raids, while in Nablus, two others were taken from Balata Camp. Several more arrests were carried out in Hebron, Tulkarm, and Salfit, part of a sweeping campaign that has become a grim routine in Palestinian towns and refugee camps.
