Israeli forces carried out wide-ranging overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, entering towns and neighbourhoods under heavy rain and cold weather. Residents reported that dozens of people were taken from their homes, many of them former prisoners, with several later released after field interrogations. The scale and simultaneity of the operations left communities describing the night as one of the most intense in recent weeks.

In Nablus, where military pressure has steadily increased during the genocidal war, forces moved through several districts, searching homes and detaining more than thirty people, including a former minister. Similar scenes unfolded in Jenin, Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah, where homes were entered abruptly and family members said personal belongings were seized, including jewellery in some areas. In parts of Jericho and the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, residents reported that certain houses were taken over and used temporarily as military positions.

Occupied Jerusalem also witnessed a wave of detentions, with around twenty residents of Abu Dis taken for questioning before some were released. Across the West Bank, the pattern of nightly raids, searches and interrogations has become a persistent burden on communities already strained by years of occupation and further destabilised by the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The latest operations reinforced a climate of uncertainty, with residents warning that each new night brings deeper anxiety about who will be taken next.
