Dozens of Palestinian protestors were suffocated today as a result of the Israeli forces' suppression of an anti-settlement rally in the town of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Safa correspondent reported that dozens of protestors participated in the weekly rally rejecting the establishment of a settlement outpost east of the town; the protest was organized by the Popular Committee for the Defense of Land in the town, the Factional Coordination Committee, and the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
He pointed out that the rally began after the Friday prayer in the Al-Shaqaq area, east of the town, and headed towards the settlement outpost, during which Palestinian flags were raised.
Meanwhile, the Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades, tear gas, and metal bullets towards the participants before they reached the settlement outpost site.
