Settler Violence Leaves Three Palestinians Injured Across the Occupied West Bank

Three Palestinians, including a child, were injured during a series of settler-led attacks across the occupiedWest Bank, as tension continues to spread beyond Gaza amid an ongoing genocidal war. Incidents were reported in several rural communities, where residents say armed groups targeted homes, farmland and civilians with little restraint.

In the village of Al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah, local officials said settlers fired live ammunition at residents after moving onto privately owned land. A young man and a child were struck in the chest and taken to hospital in critical condition. In a nearby village, agricultural property was set alight, adding to a pattern of destruction that villagers describe as systematic and intended to force displacement.

Further south, in the Masafer Yatta area near Hebron, another Palestinian was injured after being beaten by settlers. Emergency responders reported delays in reaching the victim after military forces restricted access to the area. Separate footage from Beit Furik, east of Nablus, appeared to show Israeli soldiers violently confronting a Palestinian man inside his vehicle, shattering its window and striking him repeatedly before he was taken for medical treatment.

Palestinian medical services also confirmed that a child was hospitalised after being shot in the foot during a military raid in Beit Furik earlier the same day. Local leaders say these incidents form part of a wider escalation that has intensified since late 2023, marked by killings, mass arrests, forced displacement and expanding settlements. Official figures indicate more than a thousand Palestinians have been killed, thousands wounded, and tens of thousands imprisoned across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, during this period.
