The Palestinian Information Centre Ma’ata documented 6248 violations by occupation forces and settlers in February 2026 across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, targeting all aspects of Palestinian life. The month’s assaults left eight Palestinians dead and 229 injured, alongside 823 arrests, 59 detentions, 1208 incursions, 1137 home and property raids, 1139 military checkpoint restrictions, and 319 closures of towns and neighbourhoods.
Property destruction was widespread, with occupation forces demolishing 47 homes, destroying 203 properties and seizing 93 more. Settlers carried out 500 attacks on people and property under occupation protection. The report also recorded 51 settlement activities, 302 shooting incidents, 83 deportation orders, 35 violations against holy sites, seven attacks on journalists and medical teams, and six assaults on the education sector.
Occupation forces continued systematic intimidation and property confiscation, including the uprooting of hundreds of olive trees in Ramin village, Tulkarm, and turning homes in Fuqou’a village, Jenin, into military outposts, paralyzing social and economic life. Similar policies were noted across Jenin, Salfit, Ramallah, and Al-Bireh, imposing daily restrictions that curtail movement, threaten livelihoods, and reinforce a climate of sustained repression against Palestinians.
