Health authorities in Gaza reported on Tuesday that one person was killed and nine others injured over the past 24 hours, with casualties continuing to be recorded months after the ceasefire that came into effect on 11 October 2025.
According to the latest figures, 933 people have been killed and 2,868 wounded since the ceasefire began. Authorities also said that the bodies of 781 victims have been recovered during the same period, highlighting the continuing humanitarian consequences of the genocidal war and the ongoing search for those missing beneath the rubble.
The overall toll from Israel’s military campaign in Gaza since October 2023 has now reached 72,942 killed and 172,967 injured, health officials said. They added that numerous victims are still believed to be trapped under collapsed buildings and in inaccessible areas, with emergency and civil defence crews unable to reach them due to the scale of the destruction.
The latest figures underline the enduring impact of the devastation across Gaza, where recovery efforts continue amid widespread damage to infrastructure and persistent challenges facing rescue teams attempting to locate and recover those still missing.
