SAFA- Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, carrying out artillery shelling, airstrikes, live fire, and ground incursions in several areas. The latest attacks killed Five Palestinians and injured several others as military escalation continued across the territory.
Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire in eastern Gaza City during the early hours of Thursday. Mohammad Ahed Al-Rifi and Suhail Salah Ahdaibi were killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on them in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, where troops continued repeated gunfire toward the area's eastern sections. Ibrahim Radwan Khattab was also killed after being shot by Israeli forces in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported five injuries following Israeli shelling in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood. It added that the father of the injured remains trapped inside the area as ambulance crews have been unable to reach him because of heavy gunfire and ongoing military operations.
Israeli Apache helicopters also intensified gunfire toward eastern Gaza City as military operations continued.
In central Gaza, two Palestinians were injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the Al-Baraka area of Deir Al-Balah. Several others were injured in another strike targeting a home west of Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli warplanes also struck Al-Bureij refugee camp while artillery shelled the camp's northern areas and eastern Al-Maghazi refugee camp. Israeli forces additionally fired smoke shells east of the Abu Al-Ajeen area, east of Deir Al-Balah.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery continued shelling eastern areas, targeting the town of Al-Qarara north of Khan Younis and the vicinity of Salah Al-Din Street east of Hamad City. Israeli fighter jets and reconnaissance aircraft continued flying intensively over the area.
In northern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles advanced near Abu Tammam School in Beit Lahia amid intermittent gunfire and military movements that heightened fear among residents.
The attacks are part of Israel's continued violations of the ceasefire, with ongoing shelling, gunfire, and ground incursions across the Gaza Strip, further worsening humanitarian conditions during the ongoing Israeli genocide and placing civilians at continued risk.
