SAFA- Two Palestinian children were injured early Saturday after Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian vehicle, as a wave of settler violence continued across the occupied West Bank under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to local sources, Israeli settlers hurled stones at a vehicle driven by Palestinian resident Ahmad Mansour Owais as it traveled through Wadi Al-Shaer, between the town of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya and the city of Salfit. The attack injured his two sons, Mustafa and Ali, who sustained head and facial injuries.
The children were taken to Martyr Yasser Arafat Government Hospital in Salfit for medical treatment.
The attack came amid a series of assaults by Israeli settlers across the occupied West Bank. In the early hours of Saturday, groups of settlers raided the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, attacking Palestinian homes and vandalizing residential property.
Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank have reported a sharp increase in settler attacks in recent months, including assaults on civilians, homes, farmland, and vehicles, often carried out under the protection or in the presence of Israeli occupation forces.
