SAFA - Gaza’s Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,387, while 174,257 others have been injured.

In its daily report, the ministry said hospitals across Gaza received victims and wounded people over the past 24 hours amid continuing Israeli violations of the ceasefire.

The ministry added that since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, 1,259 Palestinians have been killed and 4,146 injured. It also said that 807 victims were recovered from beneath the rubble during the same period.

Health officials stressed that many victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings and in areas that emergency teams cannot access. Ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face major obstacles in reaching affected areas and recovering those still missing beneath the debris, the ministry said.

Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire and the agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip for the 306th consecutive day, while maintaining a tightening blockade and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials into the devastated territory.

The violations come despite US President Donald Trump’s announcement on Friday, July 31, 2026, that a new agreement had been reached to begin the second phase of the roadmap.

The escalation comes as Israeli forces continue to target various areas across the Gaza Strip, amid a continued deterioration in humanitarian conditions and growing risks to the lives of civilians and displaced Palestinians.

Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the agreement to end the war and the genocide in Gaza, which was signed on October 10, 2025, in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh under Arab and US mediation.
