A Palestinian citizen was killed on Tuesday afternoon by bullets from the Israeli forces near Salfit in the northern West Bank, claimimg that he stabbed a female soldier.

The Ministry of Health stated, in a brief statement that reached Safa that the Palestinian civil association informed it of the martyrdom of a citizen, whose identity has not yet been known, after Israeli forces shot him near Salfit.

According to the Israeli Channel 12, a female soldier was wounded in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth near the settlement of Ariel.

It claimed that a Palestinian youth approached a checkpoint where a female soldier was near the settlement and he stabbed her, which led minor injuries to her.

“The soldiers at the scene shot the young man, who was martyred soon,” the Channel added.

The place witnesses traffic after the Israeli army closed the area.

Meanwhile, the official of the settlements in the northern West Bank, Yossi Dagan, arrived in the area and praised the Israeli army forces for killing the young man.
