Israeli military operations across the West Bank continued early Thursday with coordinated raids leading to the detention of at least twenty-one Palestinians, including minors and former prisoners. The arrests spanned multiple governorates, from Nablus and Qalqilya to Hebron and Bethlehem, in what local observers describe as one of the largest coordinated operations in recent months.
In Nablus, forces conducted house-to-house searches in the Al-Ein refugee camp and university district, detaining several individuals. Qalqilya saw extensive operations in the Kafr Saba and Al-Wad neighbourhoods, where a number of residents were taken into custody, including teenage boys. Similar scenes unfolded in Azzoun, where four men were detained during early morning raids.
The campaign also extended to southern regions, with Hebron’s towns of Yatta and Sa’ir reporting multiple arrests. In Bethlehem, a 17-year-old was among those detained during operations in Husan village, while in Al-Khader, forces confiscated a commercial drone during one arrest. The ongoing military operations have drawn criticism from human rights advocates who note a significant escalation in administrative detentions since late 2023.
