Israeli authorities yesterday notified the demolition of three homes and a sheepfold pens in the Umm Al-Amad area, south of Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank.
The coordinator of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee in southern Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, told Safa that the Israeli forces stormed the Umm al-Amad area, adjacent to the Israeli Ataniel settlement, and notified of the demolition of three homes and a sheepfold owned by the citizen Fawzi Abu Tabikh, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Al-Jabour added that Umm al-Amad is one of the marginalized areas in southern Hebron, and there are no services available there.
He also pointed out that the area does not have a village council that follows up on the issues of its people, despite its proximity to one of the occupation settlements built on citizens' lands.
