The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) called on everyone on Tuesday to sign a petition against the UAE-Israel normalization agreement, signed on the 13th of last August and brokered by the United States.

The movement said in a statement that normalization will not diminish the Arab popular, including the Gulf, in standing with the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, and it rejects all attempts to break up and liquidate the Palestinian cause.

Moreover, it added that the attempts to justify normalization cannot deceive the free people, who always reject it, as it aims to liquidate the central issue of the Arab peoples and covers up the crimes of the Israeli colonial system and apartheid.

The movement stated that these crimes are represented in the continuation of the occupation of the Palestinian and Arab lands, the expansion of illegal settlements, depriving refugees of returning to their lands, the siege of Gaza, the systematic ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, in addition to the daily suffering that Palestinians go through.

In addition, it stressed the need for solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling on everyone to sign the popular petition denouncing the false peace with Israel, to stand in the way of normalization at all levels, pledge to denounce it, and refuse to engage in any of its forms.
