France condemned the Israeli demolition of the village of Khirbet Humsah al-Foqa in the northern Jordan Valley and called Israel to halt its demolition policy.
"France condemns the demolitions and confiscations by the Israeli authorities of humanitarian structures financed by the international community, in particular France," said the French Consulate General in Jerusalem in a statement.
"The measures are contrary to international law. France calls on the Israeli authorities to put an end to it," it added.
To mention, Israeli occupation authorities demolished and razed shelters of Khirbet Humsah al-Foqa community for the third time in less than three months with the aim of displacing and deporting Palestinian citizens from their lands and properties. The Israeli demolitions touched some 40 shelters and structures in the community.
