The Israeli authorities deported the Jerusalemite activist, Fatima Khader, 63, who is from the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, from the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque for 6 months.
The Israeli forces arrested the Jerusalemite Khader on January 21, after storming and searching her house. Then, Israel released her at a later time on condition of being removed from the Old City for a week and the decision of her deportation was renewed again.
During last January, the Israeli authorities issued 13 deportation decisions from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old Jerusalem against Jerusalemites.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated in a report that 9 decisions were deportation decisions from Al-Aqsa and 4 decisions from the Old Jerusalem, among them employees of the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf.
