Settlers uproot olive trees, attack sheepherders in Hebron

Israeli settlers yesterday uprooted olive trees in the town of Tarqumiya and attacked sheepherders in the Susiya area, south of the Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank.

The mayor of Tarqumiya municipality, Abd al-Moneim Fatafta, reported to Safa that the settlers are trying to take over the lands of the citizens adjacent to the "Adura" settlement, which is built on citizens' lands.

He indicated that this is being done through the elimination of the Palestinian presence.

In the same context, "Susiya" settlers attacked the sheepherders in Susiya, east of Yatta, and prevented them from reaching the pastures.
