Health situation of a Palestinian prisoner shot in the leg by Israeli bullets is stable

Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission confirmed the stability of the health situation of Ahmed Abdel-Razzaq, a 17-Palestinian-prisoner who conducted an operation in Emek Medical Center.

Abdel-Razzaq was arrested on February 26, 2021, after being shot with Israeli bullets in the legs and belly.

The Commission stated that the Israeli soldiers attacked him even though he was bleeding, tore his clothes, and pull him to the military jeep. Half an hour later, the ambulance arrived and moved him to Hadasa Medical Center.

In the hospital, he conducted an operation. The soldiers kept him handcuff despite his harsh health situation. 4 days later, they moved him to Madjo prison, the Commission added.

Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission mentioned that Abdel-Razzaq's health conditions deteriorated as he started to feel pain in his right leg.

He was moved to Emek hospital and subjected to an operation on the leg. Hence, he is still aching and hardly walking.
