The Israeli forces on Wednesday demolished a wedding hall in Khirbet Jabara in Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, as part of land confiscation operations which began weeks ago.
Local sources told Safa Press Agency that a military bulldozer raided and surrounded the place and demolished it while protests continue in that area against the recent settlement establishment.
The sources added that the Israeli authorities recently confiscated about 800 dunums of that area with the aim of establishing a new industrial zone, as well as paving a settlement road to isolate the area.
It is worth noting that the Israeli forces have recently increased the settlement activities in the West Bank and Jerusalem, by expanding demolitions, building thousands of settlement units, and restricting the Palestinians.
