A number of Palestinians were injured on Friday as the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed peaceful rallies in the villages of Beit Dajan and Kafr Qaddum in the occupied West Bank.
Three civilians were injured by rubber bullets and dozens of people suffocated following the suppression of the protest in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
Safa correspondent said that the occupation forces fired heavy bullets, sound and gas bombs at the participants, injuring three of them with rubber bullets and dozens of suffocated.
He pointed out that the rally was organized on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoner's Day, and was called for by the Popular Committee for the Defense of the Lands Threatened by Seizure, and the National Action Factions.
Meanwhile, a number of others were injured as a result of the occupation forces' suppression of the weekly peaceful anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddum, which demanded the opening of the village street, which has been closed for 17 years.
Witnesses reported that clashes broke out between the villagers and the occupation forces, which fired live bullets, sound and gas bombs, and caused tens of people to suffocate.
