Hamas abroad finalizes formation of leadership structure

Following the victory scored by the Palestinian people and resistance in the “Sword of Al-Quds” battle, the Hamas Shura Council abroad has convened over the past few days and elected the rest of its members, as part of the movement’s strategy to resist the Israeli occupation and its effort to achieve its people’s aspiration for freedom, liberation, and return.

The Hamas Abroad politburo will be headed by Khalid Meshal, with Mousa Abu Marzouq serving as his deputy.

In its first meeting, the Hamas leadership abroad delegated duties and responsibilities and discussed its priorities at home and abroad in the next stage and following the “Sword of Al-Quds” battle.
